Strategic Plan

Our Next Plan

2025 - 2030

Lambton College is in the process of developing our new Strategic Plan, which will guide us from 2025 to 2030. This is an important project for our College as we redefine who we are, where we want to go, and what goals we plan to achieve.

We value the input of our diverse stakeholder groups consisting of college administrators, faculty, staff, students, and community partners. All feedback, advice, and insight gathered will be analyzed to identify the College’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, to align the future vision, mission, values, and commitments to common goals and objectives. By involving you in the planning process, we can ensure that our college is responsive, relevant, and resilient in the face of changing circumstances.

Our strategic planning is about managing change and making decisions today that will shape our future. In order to get there, we need to ask ourselves:

  • Where is Lambton now?
  • Where do we want Lambton to be?
  • How will Lambton get there?

This consultation phase is crucial to helping us achieve our goals because it:

  • Establishes and clarifies our values, mission, goals, and future vision, and communicates them clearly.
  • Sets priorities, aligns the organization, and fosters shared ownership.
  • Aligns resources to priority areas.
  • Enables Lambton to build our team (inside and out) and our expertise.
  • Fosters relationships and creates accountability.

Once Lambton’s new Strategic Plan has been developed, it will serve as a map, guiding us on a united path toward our future.
